Hello. I've got problem with MAC filter in router. When I add my MAC adress, I've got communicate that "MAC adress can't be multicast". My WiFi modem was replaced with a new one under warranty. With a previous one I had no problems (with MAC). Please help.

Bonsoir, je cherche à faire fonctionné un dongle Miracast branché sur ma télé LG.
Je suis donc passé à Windows 10 à reculons afin de bénéficier du support natif de Miracast. Problème, je ne dispose pas de l'option " Ajoutez un affichage sans fils ". Après quelques recherches sur Internet, je finis par mettre mes pilotes à jour, notamment la carte Wifi ainsi que la carte graphique intégré au CPU.
Et voici le résultat en image.
Le gestionnaires de périphérique m'indique la version 15.18.0.1 qui est censément la dernière version pour se matériel mais l'utilitaire d'intel pour la mise à jour s'obstine à me demandé d'effectuer une mise à jour. Dans le même temps, la commande " netsh wlan show drivers m'indique que mon pilotes wifi ne prend pas en charge l'affichage sans fils.

just bought a new dell inspiron 15 7000 and all is good beside the download speed at about 1/3 compared to my 6 years old precision.
any advice on how to improve it for 2.4/5 networks?
i ran intel utility test and im using a vtech router nb403 - vdsl2.
I have been unable to successfully maintain a bluetooth connection since installing this product in September of 2016. I have tried literally dozens of attempts of uninstalling and updating drivers to no avail. The device will work perfectly on its initial reinstallation but will fail on pc restart or reboot.

Hi! I just bought a brand new PC that includes an Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 3168 network adapter card. It just to work just fine until yesterday. Without updating anything, it suddenly started to constantly disconnect me from the network. I tried uninstalling the adapter and re-updating everything, I tried installing the drivers from Intel's website, I tried uninstalling my antivirus, and I tried disabling the save power settings of my network. Unfortunately for me, it's still happening and I can't stay in the network for 10 seconds.
It works perfect when I use a wired connection, so I guess the problem is related to my wireless network adapter. I would appreciate to get any kind of help on this issue.

Since the most recent Microsoft update, my bluetooth has not been working. In "Devices" and under "Bluetooth", the message says that, "bluetooth is turned off." When I try to turn it on, I get this message

I've tried multiple troubleshooting methods, uninstalling and reinstalling, and even downloaded the Intel Driver and Support Assistant Installer and am still having this issue.

I am having the same problem, my adapter 8265 is killing the WiFi, how do I know? Everytime I turn my computer on the speedtest of my cellphone, my wife's laptop or my own laptop drops from 15 MB to 1 or 2 MB/s, at the beginning the Internet company came and did all possible to find the problem, changed modems/routers and nothing seemed to change. As soon as I turn off my laptop, I get all good readings in speedtest.
Here is some information:
1.-My computer is Aus VivoBook S510 (bought it from Amazon last Sept. 2017)
2.- I downloaded the most recent firmware update to my adapter
3.- It didn't work, didn't change the condition of my WiFi connection
4.- Opened CMD and wrote netsh wlan show wlanreport, hit OK and got the error message:
Generating report ...
failed, error is 0x3A98
5.- I ran the latest SSU and attached the SSU report

This appears to be a common problem so I thought I would add my complaint to the mix to see if Intel will finally take action (that's a joke, by the way). I have a 3 year old Lenovo W541 with an Intel AC 7260 wireless adapter. For the first 2 years, I had Windows 7 loaded and never had a problem. Then I decided to upgrade to Windows 10 and that's when things started to fall apart. I now experience sporadic wifi disconnects. This happens at home and also at work (2 different locations). At home, I have dozens of devices connected to my router, including our smart TV that we stream content to, and none of them experience any problems. Just this system. And at work, hundreds of devices connected to a state-of-the-art Cisco wireless network... and so far, I'm the only one with problems.
It usually starts with several of these...

I've tried dozens of different fixes I found on the Internet, most from various Intel sites. Most recently, I rebuilt the laptop from scratch only to end up in the same boat a few days later. I've tried the stock Windows 10 drivers. I've tried the latest Lenovo drivers. And I've tried the latest drivers from Intel, both the full driver install and just the base driver install. All produce the same symptoms. I'm about ready to give up.
You know what is most amazing about this? It's the utter lack of any real attempt by Intel to fix this. It's clear that there is a real issue with the Windows 10 driver base for this product. But Intel just keeps blaming everything and everyone else. Like I said, I'm about to give up and go the route of a USB stick, as kludgey as that sounds, but I thought I would give this one last try. It also allows me to vent my frustration with the world.

it seems my laptop with Intel AC-8265 doesn't support MU-MIMO.
I'm using ASUS-RT88U as gateway, and it proves it works with Samsung S7 for MU-MIMO. but when connecting AC-8265 ( install on my DELL laptop) with Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software version = 20.10.2
During the capture packets, it shows Sounding and MU request send to AC-8265, but still get SU feedback.
please help to check how to enable the MU-MIMO for AC-8265

This is for a Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 chip on a Lenovo P50. The driver for the wireless chip keeps posting this to the Application Event Log every 9-11 seconds:

Sometimes in device manager it writes - Unknown USB DEvice (Code 43)
Sometimes it recognizes it as Bluetooth with error and writes "STATUS_DEVICE_POWER_FAILURE"

I have a Dell Latitude 5285 2n1 detachable that it's configured with the Intel Wireless TriBand 18265, I installed the most recent Wireless Dock Manager software (v. 3.0.53144.1) in order to disable the WiGig component however when I click on the settings icon the disable option isn't there the only thing I can see its the information on the below image. Please confirm the following doubts I have:

I have tried 2 separate HP Laptops, one with AC8260 and one with AC8265 cards,
and both have issues sustaining a solid connection to my RT-AC1900P (RT-AC68U)
Asus router on the 2.4Ghz band. The connection will randomly lose pings to the router
for about 20 seconds then fix itself, however the wireless link remains connected.
Laptops are Spectre x360 (one Pro - older model) and one newest Intel 8th Gen.
This is on both laptops running latest drivers 20.40.0.4 (also tried many older ones),
and Windows 10 Pro x64 (latest updates). The wireless network has a strong connection
and it's always full bars and 144/144 Mbps (this is running on a 20 Mhz channel width),
although I've tried many other options, including changing power options in the Intel
Wireless drivers as recommended on Intel Technical Bulletins, without success.
New installs of Windows 10, as well as factory resets, tried everything ...
Sometimes the issues happens every minute, sometimes every ~10 minutes.
The same cards seem to work fine with an Asus RT-N66U on 2.4Ghz band.
What's the next step for troubleshooting this issue ?

Using the latest Intel PRO set drivers (March 20).
Using latest HP BIOS & drivers.
With secure boot turned on, the error is very inconsistent and the event log shows a variety of obscure error messages.
With secure boot turned off, the card fails to initialise with "The miniport has failed a power transition to operational power" (followed by a variety of assorted error messages) after the machine has been in stand by. restarting the machine brings the card back online. Uninstalling and reinstalling the card, or disabling it, causes the machine to hard reset.

on my Dell Vostro 1520 (GM45-Chipset, no whitelisting as far as I know) both drivers (Bluetooth and Wireless) for the N2230-Card could be installed successfully without any error message under Win 7 32bit.
Bluetooth works fine without any issues.
Wifi doesn't work at all. "N2230" is listed as a network device, but marked yellow (could not be started, Code 10)
OS installation is fresh, new and clean. The current original intel driver is the first and only one installed for the N2230 (no driver provided by Dell, not integrated as OEM)
There are no other issues in the device manager.
Bios version is newest - A08.
Unfortunetely I don't have another compatible laptop to test the card in another environment.
What can I do?
